If you want to be a better partner this book is for you, no matter what kind of relationship you are in or how long you have been in it.

Dating is fun, being married usually isn’t, so that’s a problem. Esther covers all stages of relationships and gives some solid, verifiable advice about the dynamic and multifaceted nature of intimate relationships. We are contradictions seeking adventure and safety simultaneously. Your partner can’t be everything to you so don’t expect them to be. Embrace the mystery, see them with new eyes, and use it to keep that desire and interest alive and growing. You want things more when you have to overcome an obstacle to get them so... next time your relationship is feeling in a rut, just add a little mystery, wear a bow tie, do some secret (but not shady) shit.

Our biggest takeaway: It takes two people to create a pattern, but only one to change it.

BTW, the audio book has some weird-ass music between the chapters but we kinda dug it. Esther is 100% a BRO and this book is wonderful, wise, and practical. It will give you real advice for how to be a better partner and a better person. Read it.
