When someone puts their entire reputation on the line for something that goes directly against the tide of their party it’s a good idea to pay attention.

Liz lost her job and burned her career down to stand up for the truth of what happened on January 6, 2021. In this book, she runs through the story of her experience on January 6, 2021, including a part where she tells Jim Jordan “you fucking did this!”. She also covers the few months leading up to that date and the several years following where she, and Adam Kinzinger, joined with Democrats to investigate the event and reach a conclusion as to what exactly happened on that dark day in America. This is an important book and it’s well written in an accessible way. It is also written with Republicans in mind who reject the full scope of that fateful day. It’s a comprehensive argument about what happened, why it happened, and who is at fault. The only real downside of this book are the occasional side comments where Liz tries to boost her Dad’s reputation.  If you’re an American, or interested in the direction that America is going, we can’t recommend this book enough.
